The Shimano Chronarch 150G XG Baitcaster Reel delivers top level performance for saltwater fishos! Fitted with Shimano’s X-Ship and MicroModule gearing to provide a more efficient gear train with a smoother and more responsive feel. The ultimate in casting control and accuracy is made possible with the new SVS infinity brake system that easily allows for fine tuning using the external dial and internal brake weight.

Like the new Curado K, the Chronarch G is fitted with a specially plated pinion gear, combined with a breakwater wall and drainage port to provide superior protection against corrosion. Featuring 8+1 stainless A-RB bearings with a blistering 8.1:1 gear ratio meaning less time winding and more time fishing!

X-Ship
By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with the S-ARB bearings and integrating bigger drive gear, Shimano increased the gearing efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with ultra-light handle rotation; less effort and power giving a perfect rotation even under heavy loads.

Anti-Rust Bearings
A-RB are made of stainless steel that has been through the A-RB process. At least 10 times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings. Easy maintenance no-shield design allows for easy flushing of debris and easy lubrication. Increased bearing speed-no shield design and lighter viscosity lubrication reduce friction and allow the bearing to spin faster and longer.
